Dieses GerichtsVerfahren behandelt die Frage, wie sehr das individuelle Grundrecht auf freie Forschung und Lehre innerhalb einer Universität durch dort vorhandene Machtstrukturen, z.B. eine "Gruppenuniversität", eingeschränkt werden darf. Hierbei ist abzuwägen zwischen zwei Zielen, der individuellen Freiheit von Forschern und der Funktionsfähigkeit einer wissenschaftlichen Hochschule.
